In re Facebook (Fed. Cir. 2018) (nonprecedential opinion) On August 14, 2018, the Federal Circuit reversed and remanded the PTAB’s finding of anticipation for Facebook’s application for a method of displaying digital images.  The court found no anticipation because Facebook’s claim included a “rule” that requiring contiguity of the images and the prior art did not require contiguity in all cases.
